If you have one of those pesky 40.5mm filter threads (as I do) then I can supply ("free of charge") a 49mm to 40.5mm step down ring which looks right on the lens. Please put a note on the order and also message me immediately before or after placing your order as I do not automatically include this.
This Infrared+Visible lens filter is designed to make your Full-Spectrum digital camera achieve the look of Kodak Aerochrome IR film, straight out of camera without the need to channel swap. This means you can have the Aerochrome look with minimal editing and no quality loss.
While this filter is designed to replicate Kodak Aerochrome directly out-of-camera with a full-spectrum camera, all camera models/sensors will have subtle variations in colour and results will vary. Sony cameras in particular tend to create images where foliage appears more orange than red. This is easily correctable, and a modest hue adjustment from orange to red in post-processing will create the advertised results.
The sample image was just shot in jpg on my "Sony" camera. There is no channel swapping, and a little (easy) post processing involving altering the hue was necessary to get it just right. Auto W/B was not great, and a custom W/B produced a useable image on my "Sony" camera. I did have to brighten this image so I would suggest upping the exposure by around a stop although this is easily corrected in post processing.
