Sony Full Spectrum Camera Conversions

We can convert your standard digital Sony cameras into full spectrum cameras. Every conversion includes focal register correction and infinity focus verification, so your camera performs accurately across all lenses and distances straight out of the box.

Our conversion process includes:

• Removal of the internal IR cut filter (hot mirror)
• Individual sensor assessment and focal register calculation
• Shimming for correct flange focal distance
• Infinity focus verification with a fast prime lens
• Multi-lens focus testing across focal lengths and distances
• Full function test before dispatch

The full spectrum conversion process requires technical expertise, the right tools, and a clean working environment. A poorly executed conversion can result in front or back focus issues, sensor damage, dust contamination, or a camera that simply doesn't work. 🛡️ Warranty

Your converted camera will carry our 12 month "Refurbished" warranty. This covers faults developing through normal use (e.g., sensor issues, shutter malfunctions, screen failures). It excludes accidental damage (drops, liquid spills), cosmetic wear, batteries or third-party repairs.

Conversion Pricing by Sony Model

Turnaround times are 2–5 days on average depending on workload. Return postage is by Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Special Delivery.
